Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

On our recent visit to Disney we went to the Animal Kingdom and found what was for me, one of the best and fastest roller rides.
You walked through what is one of the best themed areas and get into your seat on the train then you are off on a smooth start up the steep incline towards the top of the mountain. This ride then takes you through some nail biting turns until all of a sudden the track in front of you has been ripped apart by the mighty Yeti and you come to a stop.
This is when the ride really begins. The car speed’s backwards in the dark, and there’s the final drop.
Awesome effects and a must ride for all, if you can take it that is. I certainly will be going back next visit.

    March 5th 2007.
SeaWorld Orlando officials unveiled detailed plans earlier today for the 59-acre water park and named it Aquatica, and due for completion in spring 2008.
It seems to be a cross between traditional water parks, SeaWorld itself and SeaWorld's high-end theme park, Discovery Cove.
SeaWorld's new Aquatica water park will feature 36 water slides and a high-speed river ride with rapids aimed at competing with other thrill-ride theme parks.
The park, set to open in a year across International Drive from SeaWorld, also will have an 80,000-square-foot, highly designed beach area, several calm lagoons and plenty of animals. The highlight will be black-and-white Commerson's dolphins splashing about in the main lagoon.
Aquatica will be themed mostly for South Pacific islands, though there will be mixed motifs from Central and South America.
The signature ride will be a slide that takes people underwater in clear tubes, where they can zoom past dolphins and other marine life. The dolphins and other animals also may be seen from an observation deck, an underwater viewing window and on a lazy river tube ride that will take guests under the marine life tank.
